Ware named Lavatec Laundry Technology VP Sales

Beacon Falls, CT – July 15, 2014 – Tapping into 27 years of successful laundry operations, development and consulting experience that began at one of the largest and automated laundry facilities in the U.S. - the Walt Disney Company in Orlando - Lavatec Laundry Technology (LLT) has hired Keith Ware as Vice President of Sales.

Having operated large industrial and multi-plant operations, Ware has an astute working knowledge of every facet with laundry operations that will help him in his new position at LLT. A former VP for ThermalRecycle and Regional Sales Manager for AquaRecycle, he helped grow market share and develop relationships with large commercial laundries.

Prior stints included Crothall Laundry Services, National Linen Service and Tartan Textile Services. In eight years at Crothall, he was instrumental in the growth from six to 43 laundries before transferring to Victor Kramer Company as VP of Laundry Consulting.

As SVP for the Southeast division at Tartan, he oversaw the operations of five laundry facilities that processed over 160 million lbs. of linens for large hospital systems. During his 10 year career at Disney, he managed an operation consisting of three facilities responsible for cleaning 100 million lbs. of linen and 13 million garments annually.

"As a former laundry operator, I plan to use my real world experience and translate that into helping our customers improve their operations and lower costs," remarked Ware, who reports to LLT President Mark Thrasher.

Ware said he likes the challenge to establish Lavatec Laundry Technology as the vendor of choice for laundry equipment needs, citing an expanding product line and sales network coupled with his past experience with the company.

"I have purchased many of these systems during my time in laundry operations," indicated Ware, who has a degree in Commercial Resort Management from Penn State University. When I worked for Disney’s Textile Services, I had six of their tunnels and they just performed. I always preferred the simplicity of their designs and durability."
